Join us on a Wild Waves & Wildlife Experience in South Africa. Go on safari, follow a kitesurf- or surfing teacher course and spend time volunteering at a local soupkitchen.
One week safari
You start your trip off with a safari in the Addo National Park. Addo is known for its large herd of elephants, but has so much more to offer. A special excursion during this week, is a giraffe bushwalk. Learn all about the wildlife and their habitat.
Surfing – or Kitesurfing course
South Africa is the hotspot of surfing. Follow a surfing instructor course in the surfing Capital Muizenberg.
Join us on an international surfing instructor course. Have you never been on a surfboard before? Don’t worry, we got you. We offer beginner courses as well and you can work yourself up to becoming an instructor. We also offer an IKO-qualified kitesurfing instructor course. These days it’s a Cape Town gap year staple – the Mother City’s relatively windy climate is absolutely perfect for becoming a pro at this adrenaline-fueled sport. Have you always been interested in a kitesurf instructor course? Do you like being outside and working with people? Becoming a kite instructor might be what you’re looking for!
Volunteer at an NGO
Volunteer within a soup kitchen, they serve hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children and families throughout the Western Cape and Gauteng region.
To reach further, be more sustainable, and help communities support themselves, they work to assist a number of non-profit organizations, community projects, schools and community kitchens where they are needed most. As a volunteer you could be involved with different parts of the NGO. From being hands on and assisting in the kitchen to beneficiary visits and assisting with updating the donors.
